Relax and unwind to the gentle sound of bird song in this enchanting log cabin for six. Nestled in a landscape of picturesque meadows and forests this stylish home-away-from-home enjoys an incredible panoramic view of the surrounding hills and valleys. Arranged over three floors, the entire cabin has been lovingly constructed from natural larch, terracotta and oak wood. On the ground floor, there is a spacious living room with large picture windows, a fireplace, a dining room with a huge dining table and a kitchen, with a separate wood stove. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, an oven, a coffee machine, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer. From here there is an exit to a spacious terrace, a swimming pool and a beautifully landscaped private garden. The covered terrace is comfortably furnished with garden furniture, a brick barbecue and an outdoor sink with a granite counter for preparing meals. Next to the pool there is a large wooden gazebo with a hayrack, furnished with a solid wooden table and benches, this is the ideal spot to relax in the evenings playing one of the many board games available. Guests can also enjoy a morning coffee here, watching the deer that sometimes graze in the garden. There is also a mezzanine hayrack accessible via wooden stairs where it is possible to sleep on warm summer evenings. From the larger of the two bedrooms, a wooden staircase can be released from the ceiling to provide access to the gallery, where there is another bedroom – ideal for children who will enjoy their own special space. Sleeping Bedrooms 1 & 2: Both the first and second bedrooms are furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe. Both bedrooms also enjoy access to their own private balconies. Bedroom 3: The third bedroom is situated in a separate studio annex at the end of the garden and is furnished with a handmade double sofa bed and a wardrobe. The annex enjoys its own private terrace, mini kitchen and an ensuite bathroom. The surrounding area offers visitors the opportunity to experience many outdoor activities including mountain biking, hiking and fruit picking. The area is also dotted with lakes and rivers providing opportunities for fishing, boating, swimming and relaxing. Velenje beach (on the man-made Lake -Velenjsko jezero) is a 28-minute drive from the property and the Velenje Thermal Spa (Terme Topolšica) is a 25-minute drive away. Here visitors can enjoy therapeutic, mineral-rich, geothermal waters, saunas and wellness treatments. There are also a number of castles in the region including; Grad Forhtenek (a 26-minute drive), Dravograd Castle (a 30-minute drive) and Velenje Castle which is also a 30-minute drive away. The medieval town of Slovenj Gradec is a 16-minute drive away and gives visitors with a glimpse into the rich heritage of the Carinthia region. The nearest restaurant, Turizem na kmetiji Rdečnik, is part of a local farm (4-minute drive / 20-minute walk) where visitors can enjoy local dishes made from local ingredients. The closest international airport is Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU) approximately a one-hour, 36-minute drive away.
